I've always had a fascination with the idea of a future city that is integrated into nature. Apartments built into cliff faces, gardens on the roofs of skyscrapers, stuff like that. Architect Frank Lloyd Wright explored these ideas in the early 1900s, and Futurist Syd Mead explored how these cities may look as well, both on earth and on giant megastructures in space. So I've decided to slowly explore my own such city, which I have dubbed "Eden Habitat". I will be making a number of drawings, paintings and renders of how this city could potentialy look, and this is my first rough sketch, inspired by Syd's architecture and in an art style inspired by James Gilleard.
